In this message Moses returns into the camp and his wrath waxed hot. He rendered “strange judgment” on the Golden Calf throwing it into the fire and “stamping” it into “gold dust” and strewed it into water out of the rock. (Duet. 9:21). In Genesis 11 the Lord came down to behold the “Tower of Babel” and so rendered “strange judgment.”
