From Pentecost 2020 to now we have reviewed the Psalms of the Ascent as we take a prophetic step upward towards the Second Coming of our Lord. This is the second part of this message reviewing each verse of Psalms 125 through the lens of the “more sure word of prophecy.” In verses 1&2 the Lord is stepping down establishing and securing His promises to the Church and Israel. In vs 3 the voice of Elijah is heard in choosing “this day whom you will serve” as “judgment begins at the house of God”. Vs 4 introduces the word “good” for the first time in the Psalms of the Ascent giving Gen. 41 Joseph’s interpretation of Pharaoh’s dream of the “7 good years and 7 evil years” possible new insight for where we are standing today. Finally, vs 5 sounds the voice of John the Baptist crying in the wilderness to first prepare our hearts and make them straight for the Coming of the Lord and to beware of “crooked ways” or perverse doctrines as our enemy will now come from the religious side of Satan.
